Harrogate, Tennessee, Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach Lincoln Memorial University Harrogate, Tennessee Full-Time Staff Position Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is seeking an Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach to assist in the growth and development of the men's volleyball program and its student-athletes. The Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach will work closely with the Head Coach in planning and directing team activities, with a primary focus on instructing student-athletes in the skills and strategies necessary for successful competition. Key Responsibilities The Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach will: Provide instruction in volleyball skills and strategies and support the athletic development of student-athletes. Assist the Head Coach with daily practice planning and implementation. Participate in the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of prospective student-athletes who meet LMU's athletic and academic standards. Assist with preparation for competition, including video breakdown and opponent assessment. Monitor and support the academic progress and social development of student-athletes. Conduct or oversee individual workouts, student-athlete progress evaluations, and study halls. Assist with team travel, fundraising activities, and camps. Assist with home-game facility setup, staffing assignments, and supervision. Support the overall operations of the men's volleyball program. Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Required Qualification Bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications Successful background as a volleyball player and/or coach at the NCAA Division I, II, or III level. Thorough knowledge of the sport of volleyball. Strong communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of NCAA and South Atlantic Conference rules and regulations. CPR certification. Ability to operate scouting software and ARMS.
