AUSTIN, TX, November 1, 2019 – TexasCoach.Network™, the largest provider of career management tools for high school coaches in the world, and MyCoachingTree.com™, the only tool for coaches to create their own coaching tree, announced today a partnership that will make it easier for coaches to leverage their personal network to find a job.
The partnership will combine more than 25,000 coaches registered with TexasCoach.Network (TCN) to boost the initial efforts of MyCoachingTree.com (MCT) in building MCT’s proprietary Coaching Ancestry™, which is used to connect all coaches of all sports. Phillip Engle, President of TexasCoach.Network and D.W. Rutledge, President of MyCoachingTree.com will jointly oversee the integration of the two company’s product and service offerings. The partnership has plans for a unified experience that will give coaches much more than either company could provide on their own.
“I’ve been excited about the potential of MyCoachingTree.com since I first became involved with the company,”, said Rutledge, “but to make this partnership with TexasCoach.Network on the eve of our launch is beyond my expectations. The ability to kick-start our Coaching Ancestry with the TCN membership and their relationship with the Texas High School Coaches Association will put us at least a year ahead of schedule.”
“Most coaches just think we run the THSCA Job Board”, said Engle, “but our mission is actually to help coaches manage their careers. All of us should focus on professional development to prepare for that day when we want or need to find our next job. A big part of that professional development is keeping up with our personal network. This partnership with MyCoachingTree.com is a natural fit and we complement one another perfectly. Today marks the start of a new chapter for both our companies.”
MyCoachingTree.com harnesses the information found in member coaching trees and historical records to help coaches stay in touch with their network and help them better understand their Coaching Ancestry. MyCoachingTree.com has a large collection of Texas coach records that will help to tell the history of coaching in a way never seen before. Founded in 2018, MyCoachingTree.com is a privately held company headquartered in Austin, Texas. For more information visit MyCoachingTree.com.
TexasCoach.Network (TCN) is an employment focused social media platform exclusively for active members of the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA). The service uses artificial intelligence to help coaches and school districts find their next great opportunity. TCN helps coaches build a professional profile and provides them tools to manage their career. TCN was launched in July of 2017 at the THSCA Annual Convention in Houston, Texas. In 2019, TCN helped more than 14,000 coaches with their job search and helped more than 700 school districts recruit them. The TCN Service for coaches is provided free of charge to all active THSCA members. For more information visit TexasCoach.Network.
